10 Photos of Mesa Verde National Park's Stunning Landscape

A trip to explore this gem in Southwest Colorado will not be soon forgotten.

Mesa Verde National Park is home to exceptional archeologic sites (over 4,700 in total!) and some of the most beautiful, wide-open landscape in the Western United States. Spend the morning exploring Ancestral Puebloan cliff dwellings, go for a hike to one of the many vistas overlooking the desert, and wrap up the day with a mouthwatering meal, a cold drink and even more stunning views with a sunset at the Far View Lounge

One of our Explorers Christin Healey spent a day making the most of everything the park has to offer and she shared even more recommendations in her story 24 Hours of Adventure in Mesa Verde National Park. Check out her story and these 10 photos and we're sure you'll be looking at your calendar to plan a trip to Mesa Verde ASAP.
