Description

Added by Brian Fulda

This scenic waterfall is found on the Road to Hana, and is a great place to take a dip to beat the Maui heat.

This waterfall is easily visible from the road, and many people will stop at the small viewpoint above the falls. However, getting down to it is quite easy and offers a refreshing swimming hole.

Park near the falls at any of the turnouts nearby. From there, walk to the small bridge on the road that goes over the stream. Go to the opposite side of the bridge that's not facing the waterfall. Here, you'll see a small trail that descends down underneath the bridge. Follow this trail for about 300 feet and you'll quickly come upon the falls. The hike is a little bit steep but can be done in sneakers. If you decide to swim here, do not dive into the water as it is not that deep. Other than that, enjoy.

Reviews

The waterfall can be seen from the road but the hike down to the waterfall was pretty fun. The hike is very short but I really enjoyed hiking under the bridge. If the hike is too difficult for everyone in your group they can still enjoy the waterfall from the road and the hike is so short they don't have to wait long.
