NTSE Application Form 2019

National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is considered one of the most prestigious exams in India. It is basically a national-level scholarship program meant to identify and recognized students with high intelligence and scholastic aptitude.

NTSE examination is applicable only to the students of Indian nationality. Only those students who are studying in Class X are eligible to appear for the selection process.
 

Application Process

Candidates willing to appear for this examination need to obtain an application from the official website of NCERT. Thereafter, candidates need to fill up the application form and send it to the address mentioned in the official link.
 

Instructions for Filling up the Application Form

• Applicants are requested to confirm the last date for submission of application form and where to submit it, from the State or Union Territory liaison officer

• Application fee prescribed by state/union territory need to be submitted along with the application form

• Applicant needed to leave the 4-digit Center code blank, which will further be filled by the liaison officer or the concerned district officer

• Applicants are requested to refer the application form published by the States/ UTs for caste category reservation. No reservation will be given against these categories by the NCERT in the national level examination.

• Incomplete or wrongly filled in application forms are liable to be rejected.

• The Indian students studying abroad need to fill the relevant items of the application forms and should forward it to NCERT along with Class IX mark sheet for consideration

• Candidate are requested to mention the name of State or Union Territory, where the candidate wants to appear in the national level NTS examination
