The Bearpaw Meadow to Redwood Meadow Trail is a 21.3 mile backpacking or trail running route in Sequoia National Park that features a meadow and beautiful scenery.

Redwood Meadow is absolutely gorgeous - an amazing reward for your backpacking efforts. This trail is a great backpacking route to take in the early spring when elevated trails are still covered in snow. The trail progresses from the foothills to a giant sequoia grove. The rivers can be a bit challenging to cross after heavy rain. Weather in the Sierras is notorious for quickly changing, so be sure to check the National Park radar forecast before you set out and refresh yourself on lightening protocol.

Begin at Buckeye Flat Campground. If you want to extend your backpacking trip, the trail connects to a system of other trails that will lead you north to Giant Forest or South to Mineral King.
