An amazing mountain bike trail in Squamish British Columbia with great views, good berms, and no shortage of fun.

This is a big climb. Be warned. The easiest option is to drive past Quest University in Squamish up Mamquam Road to the Half Nelson trail exit (this is the second parking area up the road). From there, you can either ride up the road to the left, or take the legacy climbing trail until you get to the top of Half Nelson.

Once you are at the top of Half Nelson, the real climb begins. The Stl'lhalem Sintl' climbing trail is 4.5 kilometres of well groomed switchbacks climbing up to the top. It is impossible to get lost on this trail, as it is the only way up.

Once you get to the top, you take a right along the old access road until you hit the SORCA sign that signifies the top of the Meadow of the grizzly. From their, you get to enjoy all of your hard work on a very fun and flowy trail all the way back down to where you started. Lots of berms, tight turns, and the occasional loose section will keep you on your toes.

Once you are at the bottom, I would suggest making the short climb back up to Half Nelson to complete the loop.

Afterwards, beer at Howe Sound Brewery is a must!
