Massive billion year old rock formations shaped like elephants! A haven for geology buffs and boulderers alike.
The area is preserved for these amazing geological wonders. Huge boulders that stand end-to-end like a train of circus elephants fill the park. You can hike through the area and even boulder on top of the rocks. Short trails are found between and around the 'elephants!'

I would not drive all the way their just to climb. We go every year to Johnson shutinns state park. Swimming, camping, hiking, and we bring the crash pads to slip off and work on some routes. Great place to kill 3 or 4 hrs on the rock.

Great spot to hang out and explore a little bit. The boulders are great and climbing here is pretty fun.

We take our group of students here every summer. It's always a hit, even (especially) for those who aren't outdoorsy.
