Indian Rock Park offers 80 bouldering problems that are accessible year-round. There are problems for all skill levels.

Indian Rock is one of the most popular outdoor bouldering spots in Berkeley. With over 80 problems, there's plenty of routes for beginners to the most advanced climbers. After parking in the surrounding neighborhood, it's an easy walk into the park.

Aside from enjoying the challenge of new routes and improving your technique, be sure to enjoy the views from the top of Indian Rock. This park is well known for its vistas of the Berkeley Hills and the bay. If you head to the park in the afternoon, stay for the sunset, you'll be glad you did.

Once you're exhausted or you've run out of light, head to the gourmet ghetto and grab a slice and a beer at Cheese Board.

Reviews

Plenty of problems for all levels. Great views of the Bay. It's a little smaller than I thought it would be, but still plenty of space for those looking to boulder. Definitely bring a crash pad and some climbing shoes.

This was a great find, tucked away in the Berkeley Hills residential area! There are problems for climbers of all levels. Had a lot of fun, and made new climber friends while visiting here.
