This oceanside campground offers a stunning white sand beach and epic sunrises.

This an absolute must for anyone looking for a beach getaway. There are beautiful white beaches, marshes, and a dark night sky to see the Milky Way. However, to secure a camping spot in the National Seashore can be difficult if you want to do it during the prime months.

A disclaimer from their website:

"Reservations are required from March 15 through November 15. Campsite reservations are available six months in advance. Be aware that nearly all reservations for weekends are filled the first day that they become available."

There is also the Assateague Island state park but I thoroughly recommend going for the National Seashore which is quieter, cleaner, and less crowded! To plan your visit and book campground click here.
