Description

Camp in the secluded National Monument with amazing rock formations and spectacular scenery in Southeast Arizona.
Looking for an authentic hiking and camping weekend? Then the Bonita Canyon Campground in Chiricahua National Monument is your ticket. The Chiricahua National Monument is a uniquely beautiful place. There are wonderful hiking trails, some of the best in Arizona. The rock formations are the attraction here. We saw deer cross the road in front of us on the way in to the park. The park has campgrounds and clean restrooms. There is no longer an entrance fee, only a small nightly camping fee. Individual campsites are $12 per night and the group site fees are $3 per person, per night. The site will accommodate 9-24 people in tents only.

Reviews
This is a remote park, but with it being a member of the NPS, many amenities are here for all campers. Take advantage.

We went here on a whim while touring southern Arizona. We stayed in the campground with our 28 foot Airstream travel trailer (about the largest you can fit in the campground). Superbly peaceful, beautiful and thoroughly enjoyable! We did a 10 mile hike with our kids and the shuttle from the Visitor Center to the top of the scenic loop was great!
