Maligne Lake in Jasper National Park offers stunning views around the campground with an abundance of opportunities for outdoor activities, fishing, and getting out on the lake.

Maligne Lake is one of those crystal clear unforgettable places Canada has to offer. It is the largest natural lake in the Canadian Rockies. Located in Jasper National Park, Maligne lake offers great fishing, kayaking, canoeing and boat tours.

Spend the day around Maligne Lodge or camp at one of the two campsites. There is no walking access to these campsites. You must rent a kayak or canoe, or bring your own. Fisherman’s Bay Campground is located 13km and Coronet Creek Campground is located at the very end at 22km. Camping is limited to 4 nights total, two nights at each campsite. It is highly recommended to make reservations.
