Camp at Warner Valley
Pacific Crest Trail, California
Description
Added by Josh Currie
Warner Valley Campground is situated right in the valley with access to numerous lakes, hot springs, river, and geothermal sites.
Warner Valley Campground is at the end of Warner Valley Road. It's 16 dollars a night at a first come first serve basis. As far as the campground it self, there are a few bathrooms and each site has a fire ring and a picnic table. There are 17 sites which isn't a ton but since it's a fairly unused area so you should have no problem getting a spot.
There are so many things to do and see in the area. There are numerous lake hikes within 5 miles, hot springs, Geothermal lakes and rivers, and waterfalls. Devils Kitchen is a great one!
Also the historic site of Drakesbad is less than a mile up the road where you can ride horses, hop in there hot springs, get a beer, or have a meal.
It really is an epic spot to spend a couple of days because of how much there is in such a close area!
