Beautiful coastal views and remote beaches. Fun hikes along the cliffs and beaches. Picturesque lighthouse. Four rustic cabins.
Perched atop the cliffs of Cape Blanco, this is a small state park that features big views of the beautiful southern Oregon coastline. The trails to the beaches and the bluffs are mostly empty, and all of the campsites are very private, so if you’re looking for peaceful solitude and salty air, this is your spot.
There are four rustic cabins perched along the cliff that we highly recommend. They have electricity, heaters, tables and chairs, covered porches, and fire rings. The centrally located bathrooms are clean, well maintained, and feature separate rooms for showering.
This area has a tendency to be windy, so plan accordingly and enjoy the area’s natural beauty. Make your reservations here.

A friend has been telling me how much I HAVE to go to Cape Blanco for over a year now, and I finally stopped there on my way down the coast this past weekend. It's spectacular. The views north and south up the coast are like nowhere else since the land juts so far out to sea heare, and there's a ton to explore in the rocky intertidal zone below the bluffs of the cape itself. Definitely planning to go back and spend some more time there!
