This is a seaside village with a charming vibe.

It’s a dream of mine to live in Carmel-by-the-Sea.  You might recognize Carmel because Clint Eastwood was the mayor from 1986 to 1988.  An idiosyncrasy you may not know about Carmel is the fact that there are no street addresses on any house in Carmel.  Everyone gets their mail at the post office, this was done to ensure people knew their neighbors.  There are also no parking meters or street lights.  If that’s not your style, there’s no way you won’t enjoy a sunset at Carmel Beach. The sunset I experienced here is still one of my favorite sunsets to date.

You may have to walk a bit from your parking spot because it's a quaint town, but you'll get to check out the rest of the area!

Fun place for a beach day. Take you friends and come here for sunset.

Honestly, this may be one of my favorite places to watch a beach sunset in California. Tons of food options really close to the beach and it's also dog friendly!

This is a great place to surf. Also great for sunsets.
