Description

Added by Pine Watt

Arriving at Twin Peaks at night offers a special chance to see the city lit up in all its glory on clear nights you are even able to see Berkeley and San Jose.

Most locals have heard of Twin Peaks, so if you hop in an Uber or Taxi you should be just fine. If not or you are driving yourself, head for Twin Peaks Boulevard, then just follow it to the top. Voila!

When you're there, be sure to catch a sunset, as it is absolutely breath-taking, If you are luck Karl the Fog will roll in like a tidal wave of fog engulfing everything. It truly is a unique site

It’s a romantic date spot for sure. Please be careful as there have been a lot of break ins to cars. No valuables!

Depending of the day or time when you come here you should always bring a jacket. You can catch one of the best views in the city here. Come here during sunset and the sunset is quite nice. But then the fog rolls in just as quick and soon either disappears or stays. You can get lucky a park up there or not . It is a popular spot even for locals and tourist. I like it because of the view. It never gets old. And the drive is calming

Easy drive up on the weekend. Plenty of parking and no one really around except a few other site seers. Will hopefully try again on a clearer day.

Can get very windy. There is some parking, but not much. View from the top is cool.

It gets pretty windy here, but the view is spectacular! Would recommend this for sunset for sure!

A friend and I hiked this before we went to watch Find Dory (yes, it was a great combo) and the sunset was beautiful! This is why I appreciate SF for its blend of city and nature. You'll see over the bay and mountains from afar. What more can you ask for in a city?

You can see 360 peninsula views from here. Oakland to the Pacific.

this spot has one of the best views of SF you can get.

Twin Peaks is one of the most frequented panoramic views of SF, but for great reason! It is easily accessible and gives 360° views of the city. Start at the bottom for a little bit or exercise or park/get dropped of right at the top! After, stroll around the Haight, take in the local scenery, and grab a drink at Kezar's.
