Experience the Hudson Valley, the Catskills, Taconics and South, East, and West in one beautiful summit from ridgeline views.
Close to the popular Bash Bish Falls in Mount Washington State Forest is this amazing summit and perfect day hike! Witness the corners of Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York all at once (and from the top of this trail, it connects to Bash Bish if you have the time to spear!)
From the Mt. Washington State Forest Headquarters Parking Lot, the trailhead begins at the end of the lot to the left where you'll enter open fields then forest area.
On a steady incline, this hike is pretty moderate, it's during the last half mile or so before the summit where the incline gets quite strenuous. Watch your steps, plenty of roots!
Be aware! This area is popular in rattle snakes. Always watch your step, especially in sunny spots on rocks.
This is a beautiful hike absolutely worth exploring!
P.S. As you hike along the river, keep an eye out for a nice little waterfall.
