Dispersed Camp near Beaver Creek Group Camp, Mt. Baker Snoqualmie NF

This campsite is located along the Mountain  Loop Highway. There are various options for dispersed camping around the area, as well as some you can reserve ahead of time such as the Coal Creek Campground and the Beaver Creek Group Campground. This campsite is located just before Beaver Creek group campground coordinates - 48.084115, -121.536540

*NOTICE - If dispersed camping, please remember to be responsible for any trash and waste, as well as using proper precautions when building a fire and lastly do not go beyond any constructed physical barriers or create new trails to campgrounds. 

After camping the night and breathing in that fresh mountain air, take a drive down Mountain loop highway and on your right hand side you will see a sign that reads "Big Four Picnic Area" and after it is road NF-4059 that will take you to a parking area where you can find Big Four Ice Caves Trailhead. You can also drive a little further down the road to the sign that reads Ice Caves Trailhead. NOTICE - you will need a day pass to access the trail. You can buy them in advance or right at a self-serve pay station at the trailhead (about $5).

Here you can hike to Big Four Ice Caves or explore the surrounding area. NOTICE - going in the caves can be dangerous and if you choose to go in, it is at your own risk. Also if you keep hiking past the ice caves there is no more trail but in the summer you will find multiple little waterfalls and pools of water that you can relax by, enjoy and photograph.
