Hiking, Camping, Site Seeing, Wild Life, Hot Pots, Fishing
Many people who live an active our outdoor lifestyle have been to many places to climb, hike, camp, etc. Yellowstone National Park needs to be on every single persons bucket list. Sometimes you need to do the tourist thing and see the iconic sites for yourself. Yellowstone is massive and would impossible to put just one adventure for this site. Really you would need many adventures to see all the beauty there.
This adventure is about hitting up the geysers right off the road in West Yellowstone. They are worth a stop and a small hike. Enter in the west entrance and eventually make your way to old faithful. On your way you will likely see many hot pots and geysers along with herds of buffalo and Elk so have your cameras ready. Don't feed the animals and don't get too close to them either, they are WILD! Have fun and later make your way to other parts of the park.

This is a great drive one of the best in the US. Traffic here can get pretty heavy and when a bison jam happens it can take hours for them to move.

This is the main highway through Yellowstone. Be warned though traffic jams are likely in the summer when wildlife are near the road.

Wonderful! Yellowstone is so popular, but it's so worth it! I have been here twice now and would go back again! This is an awesome drive filled with scenic views and plenty of opportunities to see wildlife!!

I drove this with my mom, and we were both left speechless. We saw a herd of elk, a bear, and sooo many buffalo. Truly incredible. Please note that when wildlife is near the road, there are typically lots of cars stopped for photos. If you're going to stop, make sure you pull over safely and do not impede traffic. Also... stay in the car... don't try to get the pic with the wildlife :) Highly recommend this drive!

My family and I drove this loop the first time we went to Yellowstone. It is truly amazing. It is one of the best drives I have been on.

It's the major loop through the park with lots of scenic stops along the way. Yellowstone is relatively flat so there are stretches of the road which are surrounded by trees with little visibility. 4-7 hour drive depending how often you stop.

A few friends and I road tripped around the Grand Loop and the Tetons for 9 Days, one of the most memorable trips of my life. This is a must for anyone if you have the time! Memories that last a lifetime!

The Grand Loop is a standard for Yellowstone. A great trip for a first-time trip in Yellowstone.

You certainly won't run out of photo ops in Yellowstone. It's almost overwhelming. Unless you've mastered mind control I'd take Jason's advice in the review below and try night photography. That's my next goal. There are way too many people out in the day that either obstruct your view or make everything else frustrating.
