Description

Added by Allison Herreid

Looking Glass Arch is a short, but steep hike with scenic views overlooking the Moab area.

Getting there:

From Moab, follow Highway 191 south for about 23 miles until you get to Looking Glass Road/Co. Rd. 131. Take a right and follow the road for about 2 miles and then turn left into the parking lot.

It is only about 0.10 miles from the parking lot to the arch itself, but there is a ~150 ft. elevation gain. Though this arch is easily accessible going to or from Moab, it is passed by many -- definitely worth making the quick detour!

This place gets so windy. It is cool to check out but I wouldn’t go out of your way to visit.

a cool place to just come and walk around and check out but also a fun climb and rappel down. worth heading to.

There's a great trad climb to the top of the arch and you rappel through the keyhole. So much fun.
