Description

Added by Andrew Hoang

Only a 45 minute drive from downtown Seattle, Rattlesnake Lake is a beautiful lake that is even more easily accessible and often overlooked.

Being only a 10 minute drive off the 90, this Lake is often overlooked by the popular Rattlesnake Ledge hike right above. Take exit 32 from the 90E onto 436th SE Ave and continue onto Cedar Falls Rd SE and continue for about 3 miles. At this point, a parking lot will be on your right that is both for the lake and for the hike. Park and walk down towards the lake and enjoy the stunning views! There is a treeline that is great for hammocking as well.

Really great place to stop during roadtrips. The lake is beautiful and not as crowded as you would expect. There is a popular hiking trail nearby.

This is a beautiful lake outside of Seattle to explore. This spot is what you think of when you think about the PNW!!
