From a beginner stroll to an all day adventure, there's something for everyone at this desert oasis.
Indian Canyon is located very close to Palm Springs in the Agua Caliente band of Cahuilla Indians Reservation. One of the few places with abundant shade and running fresh water in an otherwise dry desert landscape. Enjoy a longer hike to a large waterfall or stay walk along the stream and relax under the shade of the massive palms. This unique location has a variety of well marked trails of varying length and easy parking is available. There is an entrance fee of 9 dollars, or 8 dollars when purchased from the visitors center in Palm Springs. The gates close earlier in the day, even in the summer months so be sure to arrive early and bring lots of water to stay hydrated in this harsh climate.
