What’s your personal motto? Live fast, die young, bad girls do it well.

What’s your day job? Next question.

What are your favorite things to do outside? What I do depends on the season. Right now I spend my days either ice climbing or skiing. I try to get out every day, it's a good excuse to do something every day as well as to shoot everyday. During the summer I climb and run. I run probably everyday and climb just a few days a week.

What first drew you to the outdoors? I think it was when I was about 8 or 9 I realized I could pee wherever I wanted out there, and that's when I knew I was meant to be in the outdoors.

What’s your favorite hometown adventure? ...and, almost as important, where’s your favorite spot to get a beer after? The Bridger Ridge Run never disappoints, and then our favorite spot for a beer is the secret beer dumpster on the way back into town. You never know what kind of beer you're gonna find (usually slightly expired) which is an adventure in itself.

Any go-to soundtracks when you’re hitting the road? I particularly like Stay by Rihanna, and I especially like it 29 times in a row.

What’s the scariest thing that’s ever happened while you were adventuring? And/or, the funniest? Legally I can't share the first funniest, but the second funniest involves a roof, a pair skis, not enough snow, and no clothes.

What are your top destinations for adventure travel? Oh boy...Out of the country I'd say New Zealand. I love it there. State side I love living out of my truck and spending a month or two on the road so you can see everything and do as much as possible. I love the East Side of the Sierra. Endless trails, amazing climbing, and great hot springs.

Show us your most memorable photo, and tell us about it! Oh that's a loaded question. Most of my favorite photos aren't that good, I'm just connected to them due to a story of the subject. And I'm not normally psyched on my photos for more than a day or two. But here are a few from the archives and a few from some recent trips.

1. Last year my girlfriend and I spent two and a half weeks on the road. This is shot somewhere on the coast of Central California.

2. I recently shot this photo while on a climbing trip in Moab. There's a lot behind the photo, but lets say Fritz (shown wiping his eyes of sand) fought hard for 2 hours on an awful offwidth. Every pitch was a fight for us.

3. Two climbers head home after a day climbing.
