Go Wild at Deer Valley this Summer
Deer Valley deserves a place on your summer adventure list.
When you're looking for a summer escape from the ordinary, look no further than Deer Valley in Park City, Utah. Deer Valley and Park City offer the best of both worlds: you can explore Deer Valley's alpine adventures during the day and enjoy the quaint yet sophisticated amenities of Park City at night.
Plus, Park City is closer than you think. It's a quick drive from Salt Lake City, but you don't even need a car to make the trip.
Still on the fence? Here are a few ways to get wild at Deer Valley this summer.
SUP For Everyone
Enjoy stand up paddleboarding for the first or hundredth time on quiet Pebble Beach. Located just minutes from Park City's Main Street, Pebble Beach is a calm stretch of water with no boats, no waves, and on-site paddleboard rentals. It's perfect for beginners, families, and anyone who wants to relax on the water.
In the summer, Park City SUP offers daily stand up paddleboard yoga classes on the water every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Give it a try!
Take in the Views
Who needs snow to enjoy a chairlift ride? Get some of the best views in the Valley with a ride up the Silver Lake Express chairlift. If you want to go even further, hop on the Sterling Express to access Bald Mountain.
Once at the top, enjoy a picnic lunch, or explore one of the many hiking trails that lead you further into the mountains.
Enjoy a Mountain Ride
Explore the mountains in a new way with a horseback ride at Deer Valley. The Deer Valley's sure-footed trail horses will make even beginner riders feel comfortable taking in the views from the saddle.
Horseback riding packages are available for groups and individuals, and, for a full-day experience, meals can be added.
