Twin Falls Trail is an out and back trail to take in Twin Falls, a 70ft waterfall. Get there early on the weekends to get a parking spot close to the trailhead. Duration: 2 hours.

For a portion of this 3-mile hike, you'll trek next to the South Fork Snoqualmie River, so take in the peaceful sound of the river running. Along the trail runs a river, where massive boulders create wading pools of icy water for warm summer days. At 1.5 miles, you'll reach a viewpoint bridge, which provides you with a great view of both the upper and lower falls.

This is a great trail to hike rain or shine!

This has been washed out, so be sure to check here for the latest conditions. As of now, you can access the east end of Twin Falls trail from the Homestead Valley Trailhead.

Twin Falls Trail

This is a great hike that is pretty close to the city, so it can easily be done as a half-day adventure. The trail is short and easy enough to be doable by just about anyone, and there are some really fantastic views. The trailhead is also accessible in the winter, which is nice when so many trails are difficult to get to. I did the hike with my family in the winter and the majority of the trail was completely frozen, making navigating without spikes quite difficult. This is not a difficult trail, but it definitely helps to have the proper equipment! The waterfalls themselves are really pretty, but you cannot get as close as I would have liked.

There are some temporary trail closures. The main trail head is closed until further notice (via wta.org) Make sure to check before going out. Can still access the falls via Homestead Valley

If you start at the Twin Falls trailhead, the trail to the falls is closed due to a landslide but I went through anyway. As long as you're careful when walking by the affected area, which is small, you'll be safe all the way to the falls.
