The red trail features a 200-foot long suspension bridge and an abundance of boardwalks weaving through wetlands.
Frank Knowles-Little River Reserve contains nearly 9 miles of hiking trails to explore. Start off by parking in the white sea shell parking lot. From there you will find the trail marked by a DNRT sign .
My group and I walked along the red/boardwalk trail which features a number of boardwalks leading through wetlands, a cellar of a 19th century old farm house, and a high stone barn foundation. The suspended bridge is about 1 mile from the parking lot. It stands 15 feet tall hanging above a red maple swamp. If it's a hot day, you'll feel the temperature difference from the swamp to the opening of Jonny Point.
You can add on extra mileage by looping through the orange trail (1.0 mile), blue trail (2.5 miles), yellow trail (1.0 mile), green trail (0.4 miles), white trail (0.5 miles). You can download the map here.

Reviews
Great quiet place to hike, but they took the suspension bridge down this year.
