This hike is absolutely gorgeous in the spring with tons of wildflowers.

Squaw Peak Trail is a great hike if you live in Provo, since it is a quick getaway. But still definitely worth the trip if you don't. This 7.1 mile hike has beautiful views and does not long to do

Usually it takes about three hours from start (Rock Canyon) to finish (the Peak) at a decent clip. There is definitely an incline, but it isn't too prolonged.

If you are confused when the start to the squaw peak trail, it is after the 5th bridge. There's is a white post, go left not right. There is also a rock that has "Squaw Peak" etched in it.

Great steep hike. Beautiful in the summer. Make sure to watch for that first fork and go left. And keep an eye out for rattlesnakes!

Nice view at the summit.

I went when there were no leaves on the trees so it wasn't much to look at on the way up, but the view at the top is amazing. Definitely worth the trip.

Close to home and fulfilling to do.
