Description

Added by Rachel Tand

This is only a very small portion of the entire Buckeye Trail (1,444 miles), but it's close to home and offers some great trails and cool views. If the water is flowing the waterfalls and streams make for enjoyable ambient sounds.

Plan to park at the Boston Store Visitor Center. From here, head west on W Boston Mill Road, where you'll pick up the Buckeye Trail just after the train tracks on your left-hand side. Follow the Buckeye Trail crossing over W Boston Mill Road and heading north toward Blue Hen Falls.

Continue north on the Buckeye Trail past Columbia Road (3 miles from TH) until you reach Snowville Road and the Connector Trail (5.1 miles from TH). Turn right on the Connector Trail (5.75 miles from TH) and hike it for 0.1 miles until you reach the Towpath Trail at W Highland Road. Turn right onto the Towpath Trail, and hike it the 2 remaining miles back to the Boston Trailhead.
