This beautiful trail in the Santa Ynez Mountains showcases magnificent views of Santa Barbara and the pacific ocean.
This trail is a 1.8 mile loop that is ideal for families or anyone looking for a short but spectacular hike. Begin at the trailhead where Cold Spring Creek crosses Mountain Drive. Follow the trail with a wooden sign--not the one with a rusty sign. Stay right at every fork. There will be a couple creeks to cross, but these are normally quite mild. If you know there has been a lot of rain lately then be prepared for the water to be a little higher and bring appropriate footwear. The bonus of hiking after rains is seeing the waterfalls along the trail!
