The Good Water Trail is a 12.6 mile trail near Georgetown, Texas.
The Good Water Trail which is part of the larger Good Water Loop, is a 12.6 mile point-to-point hike. This trail is heavily trafficked by both hikers and mountain bikers alike. It's a great trail for scenic views, nature, and wildlife. Please be advised that the trail is severely rocky and uneven at times.
Because this is a point-to-point trail, it's recommended to have a shuttle car parked at the end destination unless you're planning on hiking the 12.6 miles back to the starting point. Or rather you can turn around whenever and hike back to the starting point.
The trail is dog-friendly, but please keep them on-leash and be sure to clean up after them. Due to the nature and rocky terrain of this trail, it is not easily accessible to those that are limited in mobility.

Trail goes up and down- lots of rocks... pet friendly! Kids love it- Definitely pack lunch or snacks and water. It is a long trail! Grab a map from the gate and be sure to use the bathroom ahead of time! Lots of photo opportunities along the way also if you enjoy photography!
