Mount Tom is one of Connecticut's oldest State Parks. Also the park offers beautiful panoramic views during all seasons.
Starting from the parking lot of Mt. Tom State Park, hop onto the Tower Trail (yellow trail) which leads more into the woods. During winter time, the trail may be slippery, please use your best judgement and always know your limits. Gaining about 300 feet in total elevation in approximately 1 mile, you will sure to be feeling the heat. Take a breathe and let your eyes wander the scenic woods Mount Tom holds. Reaching the very top, you will be able to adventure up the tower where panoramic views will unfold in front of your eyes.
