Fairly easy trail near Cloudcroft, NM . Good place to escape the heat in the summer. Good views of Cloudcroft, Whitesands and the Lincoln National Forest.

Pleasant hike located in the higher elevations of the Sacramento Mountains . Fairly easy hike through forests and meadows. Very good views of the mountains, Whitesands National Monument and Cloudcroft. Abundant wildflowers in the summer. Good opportunity to connect to other trails in the area. Much cooler temperatures than in the valleys in the summer . The trail is also good to see some fall color the autumn.

Hike the Osha Loop Trail

An easy to moderate trail with a fantastic view. You can see three different type environments from this trail. If in good shape it is an easy trail. If in not so good shape, still easy enough to do with multiple breaks.
