Hike alongside gaping sinkholes and Florida's tallest waterfall in Falling Waters State Park.
This boardwalk trail passes by a number of sinkholes, leading ultimately to the most known attraction, Falling Waters Sink, a sinkhole with a waterfall dropping into it. In spring azaleas can be seen along the trail, as well.
Take a left on Sinkhole Trail, heading clockwise. After the 0.3 mile loop, take the trail heading down to Falling Waters. To lengthen your hike, climb up to Wiregrass Trail, which leads to a small lake. Your turn around point for a 2 mile hike is the trail junction with Terrace Trail.
This hike is not recommended for dogs, due to the drop offs on either side of the trail.

Reviews
I took my family here for the weekend. Walked the whole trail and saw the waterfall and sinkholes. Learned a little history about the place. We went swimming for a bit at the swimming area and then set up camp for a couple nights. It's great for a day and night. We went off trail to make it more interesting.

Enjoyable hike, would recommend going after a heavy rain otherwise the waterfall isn't much to look at.

Beautiful park, very localized. You could see everything in about 30 minutes. Great for a quick family hike!

Peaceful hike, accessible for kids, but the lower viewing platform is currently under construction.
