Only a short hike, very close to Warner Center in Woodland Hills. Perfect for those after-work getaways, especially if you need a break from the hectic city life. Gorgeous, panoramic views all around, and great for viewing the sunset.

The Top of Topanga Overlook is where you can simply park your car, and sit in one of the benches to view the San Fernando Valley. But there is one hiking trail in that area which lets you get better vantage points, as well as a quick workout.

Once you get to the overlook, park your car and safely cross the street. There are no stoplights, so be aware of the cars passing by.

Directly across you will see the trail. Follow it and you will eventually find a great spot to view the city. Enjoy a quiet moment here, just taking in the views and the peacefulness of your surroundings. Seeing the tall buildings of Warner Center from this viewpoint will make you feel very far away from the chaos of the city.

If you continue along the trail, you'll pass through pretty looking fields, and you will also get to view the Santa Monica Mountains.
