Came here with family while on vacation in 2019. You do need to pay (per car) to get into the park, but it was definitely worth it! The boardwalk trail through the swampy forest was really cool, as was the swimming area. There were bathroom facilities, plenty of parking, and a park office with animal displays and information on many species in the area.

This is a really good trail to go on with your family! It's a pretty nice trail that winds through the "woods" I guess you could say. The perfect length for the young ones don't get bored while on the trail... But maybe a little short for the hikers :)

The hike is nice and quite enjoyable. If you are looking to go and explore Wekiwa on a weekend, be sure to be there early. Once the park reaches capacity, the line of cars stretches all the way out to the main road and you will be turned away until another spot opens up. The springs are quite popular among the locals and are great for taking a dip on a hot day in Florida. Overall, it is a great place to explore, just make sure to be there early to make sure you aren't turned away once you get to the park!

There are much better hikes around Central Florida to do than this one. If you are a beginner and want a brisk hike, this is the one for you.
