All of the wilderness without the noise
Situated amid a quiet forest of both old and new growth Douglas firs, cedar, hemlock, and maple, the Englishman River Falls consist of two waterfalls which cascade into a deep canyon beneath a secluded bridge. Perfect for intermediate hikers, day-trippers, photographers and curious tourists, this Provincial Park is the perfect place to unwind and see a stunning natural area full of lush, green forest and stunning blue water.
A continuous, winding footpath leads you down towards the Falls into the canyon, where you'll find a rush of beautifully deep blue water flowing beneath a bridge, where you can walk down to water's edge and see the rapids change from teal to green. The lower of the two falls ends in a crystal-blue pool of water, ideal for swimming in the warmer months.
The hike to the canyon and Falls is perfect for hikers who are well-versed in uphill hiking or trail running (this isn't a flat nor straight hike). Bring your camera, a good pair of hiking shoes and some water, and be prepared to stay a while amidst the backdrop of towering trees and beautiful Falls.
