Description

With yellow rolling valleys and soft blue hues of the sky blending into the sea, Blowhole Beach is worth the bumpy drive, and the hike.
After following a long dirt road, park at Cobblers Hill for the start of the hike. If you're in a four wheel drive you can drive the last few last few kms down a steep and muddy path to the beach.
Otherwise you will have to hike around 3kms down the valley to reach Blowhole beach. Even from the top of the valley the views are spectacular overlooking Kangaroo Island. Plus you’ll be sure to find dozens of Wallaby’s and Kangaroo's feeding at the top of the hill!
The track leads down Heysen Trail through the scrub from Cobblers Hill to Blowhole Beach, then returning via the walking track up the valley back to the car.
