A lush hike to a water-rimmed sinkhole.

Follow the paved path starting at the interpretive center. At the T-junction turn right, heading into the forest. In a half mile a bridge will deliver you over a ravine, before a set of stairs take you down to Devil's Millhopper. Take in your view of the sinkhole before heading back up the stairs. At the top of the steps, turn left to finish the loop back to the center.

Anticipate mosquitoes in this area.

Reviews

Very cool to learn about, lots of interesting details. Not much wildlife because it’s pretty urban, but a nice little hideaway!

Literally just a hole in the ground in the middle of an urban-ish area. Really weird and unexpected but cool experience all the same.

Nothing too exciting unless you really like boardwalks that lead to a partially flooded sinkhole.

Over 200 steps to climb. Mini accomplishment.
