Beautiful waterfall with a short hike.
The trailhead to this hike is easy to find but the gps is hard to match so it might try to take you through the middle of the trees but its easy to follow the road. The best way to get here is to go off of I-40 at the Harmon Den exit and then go up the road towards Max Patch. To get to the trailhead you take the first right after the exit. Once on this road you will pass the Harmon Den horse camp and then keep going straight until you stop at the gate on the main road. At the gate the trail goes off the woods to the left and is clearly defined but skinny. The trail continues back through the woods almost parallel to the river. The water fall is about a 30 foot cascading waterfall that comes off of the ridge. The waterfall is very hidden and can not be seen until almost on top of it. There is some places to sit for a picnic and a small area to wade in the river but not much for swimming.
