Follow Big Creek to a 45-foot waterfall. Smaller cascades as well as wildflowers abound.
Follow Big Creek Trail on a moderate climb to this 45-foot waterfall. Around 1.3 miles in, you will begin to hike alongside Big Creek, and shortly afterwards you will pass Midnight Hole, a particularly deep pool. There are a number of other small falls en route. In spring you should see a number of wildflowers, too.
The side trail to Mouse Creek Falls appears about 2 miles into the hike. The area around the falls is a great spot to have a picnic before heading back to the trailhead.

Reviews
This is a great spot for cliff jumping and swimming. Don't forget your GoPro or underwater camera for the beautiful clear water and trout filled river.

Compared to many other trails in the park, this one is easy. A gentle grade and wide path to the trail, it is also used by horses. On the way, you notice a very popular place called Midnight Hole that people jump in to off of the rocks. Beautiful green-blue water. Mouse Creek Falls are past this area and beautiful after lots of rain. Go in past these falls to see the bridge and watch the trout in the stream here. Careful in the creeks during high water because they are very rough. A busy trail during the warmer months.

If you have time and the temperatures are compatible definitely take a sim in Midnight hole!
