Ouzel Falls in Rocky Mountain National Park is a scenic, relatively easy hike to multiple waterfalls!
Located right outside of Rocky Mountain National Park, this hike is perfect for anyone looking to do a little exploring without the cost of a park fee. The drive through the Rocky Mountains to the trailhead is an added bonus. This hike is great because it has multiple attractions all along the way. Not long after you begin the hike you come across Copeland Falls and then shortly after you run into Calypso Cascades. The trail is very well marked and full of exciting features. Once Ouzel Falls is reached there is an option to continue on to Bluebird Lake.

Because this part of the park has a separate entrance, this is a great hike with a lot of waterfalls. It is also a great place to see wildlife and fish for wild brook trout.

We did this hike with my 2 year old son and everyone was able to enjoy it. There were ample opportunities for him to exit the carrier and hike on his own. Ouzel falls was lovely and a good enough reward for our family hike.

This was a very nice hike with lots of beautiful waterfalls to see. I thought that Calypso Cascade Falls was the more photogenic but both were beautiful. I went in late spring when the water was raging to its fullest. I plan to come back some time in the fall when the leaves change due to the plenty of aspens.

The falls and cascade aren't very photogenic but it's still a great hike.
