Amazing swimming holes to cool off. Great for photography to of both falls.
The gravel road heading to the trailhead is on the rougher side to take it slow. When you get to the trailhead it’s a small gravel pull off right off the road. There are no maps at the trailhead but there are only a few trails to take and they are marked with a blue marker.
To get to the upper falls head down the trail until you reach a three way split. It is about .75 miles to the campsites. At the split there is a wide opening with a few campsites and some great places to hang up your hammock. When you reach the split take the furthest one on the right for the overview. The lookout is about .25 miles off the trail. Watch your footing near the edge of the falls because the earth is a bit loose and it is a 90 foot drop to the bottom. To get to the pool of water got back to the split and take the one down the middle it is a bit hidden but I’d the fastest way to the bottom. When you get to the bottom of the hill about 1000 feet then you take a right to the water. When you get to the water it is a nice cool year round temperature and at its deepest it is 30 feet.

Winter time!! Upper and Lower are great! Huge icicles and the waterfall is spectacular in the winter. Will be heading back in the summer for my first time!
