Such a scenic location, and just an easy hike from the beach to the top of the cliff. You will get to see rock climbers working their way up the side of the cliff, and this is the perfect spot to watch whales as they migrate during the winter season.

From the parking lot, make your way towards Point Dume. You will find the entrance to the trail at the end of the lot. The trail is a bit sandy, but fairly easy. Be careful of the cactus plants along the trail!

Make your way up towards the cliff and you'll notice ropes hanging on the edge. Don't be surprised if you see someone pop up on the edge, this oceanside cliff is famous among rock climbers.

Find a great spot to take photos of the view, and wait for the sun to set. Between December to April, you might catch a glimpse of whales, as they migrate south for the winter.

Go back the same way, but be sure to make time to stop by the beach to enjoy the sand and sea.

Spectacular views as a reward for an easy hike! A gentle path takes you up to the top. You can see where the climbers tie up their ropes, to climb up. Definitely worth the trip.

Malibu is one of my favorite places, so many beautiful beaches. I love the cliffs here, it's so pretty! Great sunset spot! Lots of parking.

A must if you are in the area.

Sunrise or sunset is incredible. This place never disappoints
