Description

A beautiful short uphill hike to a viewing platform to see two waterfalls cascading 550 feet down the rocky face.

The short trek to the viewing platform is well maintained and all uphill. Once at the platform you can view both of the waterfalls cascading down into the valley. The best wait to get a photo of them both is with a wide angle lens. There are no trails directly to the bases of the waterfalls but if you use a telephoto lens you can get some nice close up photographs of them.

To get to Twin Falls travel Highway 16 west of Smithers, British Columbia, Canada for about 4 kilometres and take a left. Follow the signs to "Twin Falls". Turn left from Hwy 16 onto Lake Kathlyn Road. Continue driving crossing over the railway tracks and turn left on Glacier Gulch Road. The recreation site and parking lot is ahead. There are camping spots at the recreation site that are free.

Reviews

This is a great hike with double the rewards! Depending on the time of year, you can actually walk right close to the falls. Worth visiting if you're in the area!

This was one of the most amazing waterfalls i have seen and the hike was amazing. It was a amazing waterfall. The begging of the hike is very easy and anyone can do it. Going up to the waterfalls however is a little bit more difficult but can still be easily done.
