Turkey Pass Trail at Enchanted Rock is a 3.1 mile loop hike that takes you by a river located near Llano, TX.

Once inside the park, you can't miss either parking lots that are surrounded by picnic tables and well marked signs pointing towards the trails. Enchanted Rock Summit Trail is an out-and-back hike that offers expansive views in Hill Country from the 1823ft summit of Enchanted Rock located near Llano, TX. Keep in mind that this trail can get crowded on holidays and weekends. The park closes to visitors if it's overcrowded, so be sure to make reservations for your visit. 

There isn't an official trail to Turkey Peak, but it is one of the best views in the park. This is no easy climb, so be prepared to be sweating! From the parking lot head towards the Gazebo. From there begins the Summit Trail that leads to the top of Enchanted Rock, but you want to stay right, towards Frog Pond (not the Sandy Creek Trail). The trail is a loop which goes past a lake! Bring a lunch, hang out, and swim for a while. There are bathrooms along the trail.  The park is 18 miles north of Fredericksburg on Ranch Road 965, or from Llano, take State Highway 16 for 14 miles south and then go west on Ranch Road 965.

To access the trail, park off of Flat Rock Creek Road (see map). Trail is accessible from January to October. You can make it a partial out-and-back if you're not up for the whole 27 mile loop.
