Hubbard City Lakes Park is located about two miles south of the town center of Hubbard off of Highway 31. If you're heading south on 31 you'll make a right on to Country Road 3360 (and if you're heading north you'll make a left). Navasota River Trail is an approximately 3.4 mile out and back trail following along the Navasota with several viewpoints located near Mexia, TX. This is a great trail for hiking, running, or simply stretching your legs. Dogs are welcome on the trail on-leash. 

Springfield Nature Trail is a loop trail that runs along the southeast side of Springfield Lake in Fort Parker State Park located near Mexia, TX. This trail is used by both hikers and runners and is family friendly. Dogs are permitted on this trail. 

Johnnie, Slinky, Kite Loop is a 1.6 mile loop hike that takes you past a great forest setting located near Waco, TX.

Emmon's Eliff Loop is a 1.1 mile loop hike that takes you by a river located near Waco, TX.

Cameron Park is shared by hikers, trail runners, mountain bikers, horseback riders, and dog walkers. You can also fish and canoe in the park. The trail system offers scenic views of the surrounding landscape and is a great place to see wildflowers and wildlife.  There are restrooms, water fountains, picnic areas, frisbee golf, trail maps, and activity guides at the park entrance.
