Looking for a place to spend the day without getting bored? Here you can fish, play volleyball, go for a run and have a picnic at the end of the day. Perfect spot for a family or even just to unwind in nature!
This is an awesome tucked away little adventure that will have you occupied all day! With plenty of picnic tables you can be sure to have your own privacy tucked into a corner free from other people. Grab a lake side picnic table or even the numerous ones around the grass fields, they are all wonderful. The Regional Park is easy to locate, has plenty of activities and is in an easy spot to get to in Orange County.
Directions to the Park:
Located near the cross streets of La Paz Rd and Aliso Creek Rd it is easy to find with plenty of grocery stores such as Whole Foods and other food places near by. When driving down La Paz Rd it has a large sign saying Laguna Niguel Regional Park so that you will be sure not to miss it while driving by. Once you are through the gates you are free to roam the park! I have the location attached to the post or use the words Laguna Niguel Regional Park in your maps!
Activities:
Anything from fishing to volleyball can be found here. With a trail lining the fences of the park you can ride your mountain bike to the local Aliso Woods Park or even just along the fence line. There are plenty of huge grass fields with space to play any game imaginable. Bring a volleyball and play some sand volleyball or even just your fishing gear and head over to the lake to see if anything is biting! There are even fish cleaning stations to help you easier transport your catch!
Be sure to check this park out! It does cost $3 to get into the park per vehicle Monday through Friday and $5 Saturday through Sunday so make sure to bring some friends or family to bring the cost to almost nothing to reconnect with nature in a beautiful regional park that many don't know about. There are also events during the summer such as movie nights! Here is a clickable link so that you can also access the park's information more directly!
