As far as I know there are two trails you can take to get to the summit, but I took the the one officially named Mount June trailhead on google maps. I believe the other one is about 10 miles. It is about an hour and 10 min to get to the trailhead once you get off the 5 wether you are coming from Eugene or Cottage Grove. I highly recommend a vehicle with some kind of off-roading capability. The trail itself is only 2.2 - 2.4 miles with around 915ft of elevation gain. It is moderately steep with a few downed trees to climb over or under. Lots of douglas fir and although I did this hike in the winter and there was still lots of snow on the ground, I have heard that it is very pretty in the spring and summer as well. The summit sits at 4,618 feet and is the tallest peak in the area. At the very top you get great views of Three Sister's and Diamond Peak. On the way down there is also a section where you get beautiful views of the city. All in all it is a short, but strenuous hike with very rewarding views. Highly recommend.
