Just about a 10 minutes drive on SH 3 south from town - take a left on Kent Rd onto a gravel road. There are a few of parking lots around the lake and they will all take you onto the loop track through native bush around the lake. I unfortunately, didn't have time for it, but I heard it's beautiful! I also heard it's steep at some parts. (You've been warned.)
