Photograph the Cleveland Dam
North Vancouver, British Columbia
Description
Added by Kaila Walton
Photograph the impressive spill-way nearing 300 feet which holds back the manmade Capilano Lake.
Once you park in the parking lot near the dam, its fairly easy to tell where it is, and how to get there.
The awesome spillway looks like one of the worlds most dangerous slides, (don't slide down it), and Capilano Lake and the peaks of the Lions make for a great backdrop in North Vancouver.
Photograph the dam, and the cute little green building floating in the lake, and if you are up for it go for a little walk in Capilano Regional Park.
Directions:
Park at the Cleveland Dam parking lot on Capilano Road just north Montroyal Boulevard in North Vancouver, BC.

Reviews
Walking towards the dam, you can enjoy the beautiful and peaceful scenery of the reservoir embracing by snow mountains. When you walk through the dam, you can see the waterfall from the dam running to the pond, so spectacular
