A clear lake with a beautiful beach that you can relax at and also can camp at!

Boulder Beach at Lake Mead is a great place to get your toes wet while road tripping. It's a big beach with a campground, ample parking, and ducks! The water is very clear and an amazing blue. When the wind picks up there are little waves forming, so keep that in mind if you plan on kayaking or paddling.

Relaxing at Boulder Beach

It was pretty empty when we came here. Not sure if it was just cause it was a weekday or if its always uncrowded. It's a great place to cool off, especially after long drives. Very refreshing to see so much water after long drives in the desert.

Clean water to swim in! Nice views. If you live in certain parts of Mohave area there is not a ton to do and Lake Mead sure helps with that!
