Three Tables is a perfect place to bring the family and keikis, swim, sun and hang out for the day. Conveniently located right past Waimea Bay and before Foodland, you can pick up snacks for the day and have a great time.

Even though the North Shore of Oahu is known for big waves in the Winter, in the Summer months (northern hemisphere) there can be a ton of great beaches to relax at and spend the day. Three tables is one of those places that can be sometimes overlooked, but well worth the stop if you are headed up that way. With plenty of shade, small pools, and sand, it's a great place to bring the whole family.

Parking can be a little tight since there are only about 10 spots directly in front of the beach, but across the street and up a bit there are more...so don't fret. Also about a block away is the famous Foodland, which is a grocery store that has just about everything you'll need. So if you forget sandwiches or water or sunblock, they've got you covered. You're also only ~1/4mi  or less, away from Waimea Bay, so if a bigger, more open beach is your thing, you can park at Three Tables and walk down.

Stop here when visiting the north shore. The north shore has so many great places to stop if you can't get parking at one just head on to another

This is another great beach to stop at when exploring the north shore of oahu. There is pretty snorkelling here, but if parking is too tough, keep driving and stop at sharks cove!

The only thing I’d like to mention is that some areas ofthis beach have smooth rocks that people and kids can slip on easy, the waves the day we went were powerful enough to move you back a bit and because of it, some of the kids on the shore were pushed into the larger rocks on the shore. Scraped hips, legs, arms, you just have to be careful. If I had small ones I don’t think this one is the perfect fit for a day at the beach for them.

Right in the middle of the North Shore. Tons of food around, and some epic snorkeling. Lots of marine life, and if you are in to free diving there are plenty of lava tubes to explore.

With the food trucks from Sharks' Cove, Foodland, etc. right there and the calmness of the water (unless there's a winter swell) this is an amazing place for the whole family to relax, picnic, go in the water and enjoy the sand/ beach. Remember to pick up your trash and any that you see - mahalo.
